Why Mokha Not Mocha ?

History

The Port City of "Al - Mokha" "المُخا" was the first to grow and export coffee between the 16th - 17th century to the world.

Yemen

The first country to cultivate coffee under the Ottoman Empire and has a unique agricultural terroir with native coffee plant varieties.

Language

The original name in Arabic referring to the Port city of Al - Mokha is "المُخا". The unique letter "خ" in this case is "Kh" when translated or used in English. Therefore, "Mokha" with "Kh" and not "Mocha" with "Ch" is the right meaning and translation, especially in the context of coffee.
